“Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.”
Psalm 143:8 New Living Translation
I shot this photo as we were driving on a major road in Colorado Springs. The moon was so beautiful and, as we drove, I was trying to position my camera to get a pleasing photo. This was easier said than done as there were obstacles in the way. Cars, light posts and trees blocked my view. But when we turned a corner, I had a clear point of view of this full moon over the mountains. It was so awesome to shoot this picture from a better perspective.
In life, our perspective changes often. Sometimes our perception is skewed because of negative events that affect us and how we see God based on those. But when we travel down the road with Christ, He removes whatever obstructs our view so our sight will align with His. Each road He leads us down is an opportunity to see a new dimension of His love. The world’s view of life that has disappointed us will dissolve as we turn every corner in our walk with Jesus.
God doesn’t change, your perspective does, as you see Him more clearly through His word and find a different frame of reference based on His promises. Know that He views you through the lens of the sacrifice of His Son Jesus, and not on your experiences or inner turmoil. Clearly see the love He has for you as you meditate on His great sacrifice for you during this Lenten season.
