We await the day when we will all sing together to our Lord around His throne.

Then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and the elders. And they sang in a mighty chorus:
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered—
to receive power and riches
and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing.”And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
belong to the one sitting on the throne
and to the Lamb forever and ever.”And the four living beings said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped the Lamb.
Revelations 9:11-14 New Living Translation
From time-to-time Compassion International, where I work, would have meetings with people from many of the countries where we have ministry programs. We would hold a huge worship service together where we would all be singing praises to the Lord, often incorporating everyone’s languages into the songs we sang.
These verses from Revelation reminded me of those gatherings and gave a glimpse of how awesome it will be when we will all join before the throne of the Lord, worshiping, singing and praising our Lord. No divisions, no worries, no strife, no struggles. Poverty will be erased, and wars will cease. We will all be healed and renewed as the glorious light of Christ showers over us, and we are united in love for our Lord as our voices rise in joyful song to our eternal King.
How we long for that day. Come, Lord Jesus!
