If you are walking in darkness,
without a ray of light,
trust in the Lord
and rely on your God.
Isaiah 50:10 New Living Translation
You’ve prayed and prayed. Some days, it feels like you are blindly feeling your way through a cold, dark place. Maybe a critical decision needs to be made or a particular area of life has become an overwhelming struggle. Of course, you seek God’s will, but His voice seems silent, and the road is dark.
It’s time to remember God’s promises and faithfulness to answer your prayers. You have seen Him work miracles where there were none, speak healing into hopelessness and bring light into the deepest gloom. You may not have all the answers now and are still experiencing pain, but there is always a sliver of light in the darkness when you lean on Jesus. He is forever there for you.
While you wait for answers, may you see God’s powerful light brightly illuminating your path no matter where He leads you. May Jesus banish any darkness in your life that is holding you back from experiencing His true joy. And may you understand how devoted God is to you, how faithful He is to answer your prayers, and how fiercely He loves and protects you.
“You light a lamp for me. The LORD, my God, lights up my darkness.”
Psalm 18:28 New Living Translation
