God’s Beauty of Creation

O Lord, how manifold are your works!
In wisdom have you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures.

If you have ever seen a little boy find a frog, then you have seen what pure joy looks like. In my son I see wonder, and awe, and even a little fear of something that is alive and slimy. It is a spiritual practice to see the world through the eyes of a child, to see something so small and have it make you giddy. God is full of wonder within his creation, the earth is full of his creatures. 

He cares for the littlest of frogs, the brightest of stars, and for all the people of the world. Yes, he cares for you. In God’s infinite wisdom, he created you. Let yourself feel a little wonder and awe at the power of God in his creation of the world and of you. Maybe you feel some fear at this, of what God can do in your life. Take the time today to try out this spiritual practice, find something small and let it fill you with the joy and wonder of the power of God.
