An Everlasting Love

God created people to be resilient and to overcome. We are the most complex, most loved creatures God created. His love for every human surpasses His love for every other entity.
If His love is so great for us then we can trust Him that He hasn’t left, that He won’t leave, that He’s always present, working everything out for our good.
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28 English Standard Version
The value of problems is that we eventually lean on something or someone to provide strength in the light of these struggles. It creates space for God. It doesn’t mean we will lean into Him the first time, or the second we face struggles. However, He remains present so when the scales come off our eyes, we lean into His love. He is in the same place He’s always been, right beside us.
“Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.”
Isaiah 26:4 English Standard Version
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”
Jeremiah 31:3 English Standard Version
The flip side of problems is they’re loud. It’s hard to keep our eyes on anything but the problem. When our problem becomes bigger than the answer God has provided, it’s easy to lose faith.
Keeping our eyes on God when problems arise is easier said than done. Daily, sometimes multiple times per day, call on Jesus. He gives solutions in the most unexpected ways. Just listen.
