I’ve heard it, and you may have also, that God has good plans for us.

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.
Jeremiah 29:11 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

This verse goes deeper than just the casual idea of God having good plans, it states that God’s plans for us include nothing evil as well as offering hope as we plod in our journey toward the end.

The good plans are attached to the love that Jesus has for all of us. When we know that God has good ideas for our life, we can receive more of the love that is constantly offered, or vice versa, when we know God loves us, we know the plans are fantastic.

But why is this is so important to know? Life is hard and painful at times. Knowing God has good plans is sometimes the very thing we need when we are sitting in the pit of pain.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:22 New International Version

The pain is endless in the pursuit of our lives while we are on earth, but Jesus ensures that we can hold on to the hope that He has the ultimate answer.

When you question if life can get better, know that God has a plan for your life and that plan is more fantastic than you can imagine. Our part is to give glory to God when that plan comes to fruition. Don’t forget when your prayers are answered, pause and give thanks to God, who provides for us, day by day, minute by minute.
