The musky smell of rain in the breeze as it approaches.

The sound of thunder rumbling like a tympani.

Peals of lightning across the sky.

Storm clouds circling and swirling above.

A dark and cloudless night with billions of stars.

Wind rustling through the mountain trees.

An eagle’s cry echoing off the lake.

Sun shining warm on your face.

Walking hand in hand with your lover.

Laughter trickling down from the kids bedroom.

Wind lifting your kite into the sky to the amazement of the children.

Sitting at the dinner table enjoying the company of family.

A friend who knows when to ask how you are.

Clean sheet day.

Sitting with Jesus and soaking in His Word.

Praising God with the body of believers.

Resting in the knowledge that He is God and He has you.

Praise the Lord, all you nations;
    extol him, all you peoples.
For great is his love toward us,
    and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
