“For the Lord your God has blessed you in everything you have done. He has watched your every step through this great wilderness. During these forty years, the Lord your God has been with you, and you have lacked nothing.”
Deuteronomy 2:7 New Living Translation
Lately when I go to the grocery store, the shelves for certain items are empty. They just can’t keep particular products in stock because the supply chain hasn’t recovered from the disruption of the pandemic. Right now, there aren’t enough workers in the meat packing industry, chip makers for cars and computers, truckers to haul products or farm workers to harvest crops.
We are blessed with knowing a God in whom there is no shortage of anything we need. If we feel empty inside His word is there to fill us. If we are struggling, He hears our prayers and answers us. Whether we need basic life-giving necessities or healing of a deep wound in our souls, He will deliver. Nothing can stop His power, His provision, or His love! He is always in control, even when all we see is chaos.
No matter the hopelessness we see around us or feel inside of us, we must focus on the abundance of blessings found in Christ. He freely gave us the best gift of all—His life for us and an eternity with Him. He will provide for you!
