God designed boundaries for us to protect us and give us an abundant life.

“Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
    you make my lot secure.
 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
    surely I have a delightful inheritance.
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
    even at night my heart instructs me.
 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
    With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”
Psalm 16:5-8 New International Version

Modern farming relies on GPS auto‑steer technology to create straight, consistent rows with remarkable precision. These aligned rows improve efficiency and support a healthy harvest.

While David knew nothing about GPS technology, he did understand the value of a boundary line for living his life. He recognized that God’s guidelines bring order, protection, and direction to life.

God-designed boundaries offer freedom and security. Choosing to live within them leads to blessing; stepping outside them leads to harm. David trusted God to provide for him, to guide his decisions, and to secure his future.

Likewise, when we keep our eyes on the Lord, we can walk confidently, knowing He directs our path and meets our needs.

Embrace God’s boundaries and enjoy the abundant blessings found in them!
