Satisfaction

Nothing Satisfies Like Jesus

Jesus fills us up in a way that nothing or no one else can. The Holy Spirit moves through the cracks and crevices of our soul to heal the broken and empty spaces.

“For He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with good.”
Psalm 107:9 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

We can take a drink of the Living Water to quench our souls and connect with the only Being that can offer the refreshment we truly desire.

“But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up (flowing, bubbling) [continually] within him unto (into, for) eternal life.” John 4:14 AMPC

It’s in allowing God to satisfy our souls that trust also increases. As we become more dependent on God filling us up, we can flow with the negative elements of life and, hopefully, realize that everything is working for our good.

“We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.” Romans 8:28 AMPC

Let God satisfy you in a way that nothing in this world can by resting in Him, learning more about who He is, and relying on Him for all your needs. The more time we spend with Him, the more our dissatisfaction with our situation and those around us can fade away.
