Spring is in the Air

Rejuvenated by the Resurrection

Spring is one of my favorite times of the year because we can see the grass greening up and of course, the baseball season is getting back in full swing. Today’s image is of Sloan Park in Arizona, and you can see the groundskeepers diligently making the field perfect while players stretch out in the outfield. Some folks are already in their seats!

What does spring mean to you? Maybe fall and winter have been long and cold, and you look forward to warmer days ahead. For those of us that call Jesus our Lord, spring reminds us that Easter is soon approaching. In Isaiah 35, we read,

“The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty of our God”.

In the resurrection of Jesus we are refreshed, we are given new life! Enjoy that spring is in the air!
