Wheels Keep on Turning

Life goes on and on. Even after our last breath, we know we go on and on in everlasting life with Jesus.
The wheels in the picture no longer turn; they’ve been converted for a different purpose, but the center and spokes remain to remind us of its purpose. When I look at the picture, I’m reminded of God being the center, not only of my faith but my body and mind, and when I recenter myself in God, good things come out of me, just like the spokes shooting out of the center. When God is not the center, I’m on the outside of the wheel, hanging on with a white knuckle grip as the world turns me around and around.
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 English Standard Version
The snow is calm and quiet just like my emotions when the Holy Spirit is in the center of my soul and spirit. I can’t be moved or shaken in those moments.
“He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.”
Psalm 62:1 English Standard Version
Stay rooted in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, letting the world move around us. Peace is available, no matter what is happening.
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Phillippians 4:7 English Standard Version
Pray, read God’s word, connect with Jesus and the peace that only God can offer will be waiting to greet us in the middle of all that is moving. If we stop occasionally and reconnect with the Holy Spirit, we will find the peace we crave.

Such a calming, centering post! Because it is SO TRUE! And Truth calms and brings us back to Him! Thanks Liz!
