Our Shepherd is all we ever need!

“The Lord is my shepherd;
   I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows;
   he leads me beside peaceful streams.
   He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
   bringing honor to his name.
Even when I walk
   through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
   for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
   protect and comfort me.
You prepare a feast for me
   in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
   My cup overflows with blessings.
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me

God gives us everything we need to live our lives for Him. He gives us rest, nourishment, comfort, and peace. We don’t have to be afraid of the evil in the world because He will always protect us. We don’t have to be afraid of death. He blesses us with a special, unique purpose created only for us and walks with us as we fulfill it. He keeps us on the right path and corrects us gently when we stray. He restores and refreshes us. His goodness never fails, His love for us will never end, and we will live with Him forever.

We love and serve a magnificent God!
