I’ve never been so busy as I am in this season of life. Between kids, job, and activities, I find it hard to be quiet and still.

We cannot stop the motion in our life, but we can remain peaceful internally, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

“He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 46:10

Since the beginning of time, humans have taken their eyes off God. Adam and Eve were the first distracted homo sapiens. They took their eyes off God and looked to earthly things, such as knowledge and power. The Bible is full of people who put other things before god.

However, the saints who have gone before us are models of peace and tranquility. They represented what God intended for us as we walk in union with Him.

Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.
Hebrews 13:7

My goal in this season of my life, even in the busyness, is to constantly connect with Christ throughout the day by reading the Word, and being in prayer. These are proven methods that God has given us to connect with Christ.

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:5
