“I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.”
Ephesians 1:19-21 New Living Translation

We struggle daily with living in a sinful broken world, and with each passing year it seems to be getting worse. We can only imagine what it would be like to live in the heavenly realms with Christ ruling in total power from His seat of honor. Corruption, oppression, and power-hungry people dominate so many lives and leave us feeling that hope has left this earth.

But on the morning that Christ walked out of that tomb, even after His followers believed all was lost, hopelessness transformed into resurrected faith. Sin’s stronghold was shattered for eternity and a new hope of indestructible power over Satan was ordained.

I pray that we all understand the greatness of God’s power. He had the power to raise Christ from death, the power to defeat Satan, and the power to rule over this world and the future one. Trust Him with all your heart for any hopelessness that overtakes your confidence in God. He loved you so much and proved it through the sacrifice of His Son. You’re His dear child and He’s never giving up on you or anyone whose faith is in Him.

“May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
Ephesians 3:19 New Living Translation
