Has It Dawned On You Yet?

by Desiree Bustamante

It’s a new day to experience the wonders of our God.

In the early dawn it’s quiet in our neighborhood. Sometimes we are blessed with a beautiful sunrise such as this, but many people are still sleeping and miss these beautiful colors in the sky.

Let us acknowledge the Lord;
    let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
    he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
    like the spring rains that water the earth.”

Hosea 6:3-4 New International Version

It’s so easy to go through our routine and not notice the presence of God throughout our day. We are busy people living busy lives in a fast-paced world. Looking and listening for God’s message to us gets lost because it’s not a priority on our to-do lists. We miss out on a unique relationship with our Heavenly Father, who wants us to experience His presence each day.

Don’t let another day pass by without seeking what He has for you, whether a sunrise, a kind word from someone, an answer to your prayer or even the opportunity to be an answer to someone else’s prayer. Open your eyes and ears to God this day.
