“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
John 10:10 NIV

Jesus has come to give us life. He sacrificed Himself in order that we could have eternal life with Him forever. He also came to give us life in the day to day of earthly living. As a father rejoices in the joy of his children, so our Father rejoices in our joy. If it weren’t so, He wouldn’t have made the ultimate sacrifice of sending His Son to the cross. If it weren’t so, He wouldn’t be in constant communion with us, showing care for us in both the smallest of ways and the largest of ways.

God delights in His children. As we look to Him and give thanks to Him, we can find joy in every circumstance. We can live a life full of God’s love and grace. His joy and peace are within us. We can have the fullness of joy today, as He walks with us and dwells among us. God is with us now, as He will be with us always.

Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we can enjoy the life God has granted us. We are showered with blessings and miracles. Even in the difficult times, we can find joy in our Savior. In the simple gifts and simple moments with our Heavenly Father. We can hike mountains and be filled with awe at the work of the Creator. We can sit in the presence of family and friends and relish in the gift of community and relationships.

“You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
Psalm 16:11 NIV
