Even if we feel isolated and God feels distant, we are never separated from His love.

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39 New Living Translation
The frozen TV dinner was a huge success for the Omaha company C.A. Swanson and Sons. The company began selling a frozen chicken pot pie in 1952 and that success led to the development of a frozen turkey dinner with peas and mashed potatoes. They separated the food on a three-compartment tray and it became America’s first frozen TV dinner. In 1953 it sold 10MM units. It was a great way to prevent food spoilage while providing convenience in meal preparation.
There was quite an appeal to having food items separated into little foil compartments, but eventually they were no longer called TV dinners and today food is stored in microwaveable trays for quick heating.
Even as companies focus on separating food in new and improved containers, Jesus is working to keep us together. Facing a fear that threatens to darken your world, anxiety that keeps you up at night or even Satan himself can never separate you from the love and protection of the most powerful force of all, Jesus. You may feel that He is far away and uninterested, but that is never true. He is right beside you, holding you in His powerful arms and guiding you through every peril you face. Nothing can separate you from His love. He redeemed you from eternal death, protects your soul from the arrows of evil and has prepared a special place for you in eternity with Him. Turn to Him. He is already there waiting.
