“And then he told them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.’”
Mark 16:15 New Living Translation

As Christians, we are often told to stay in our lane when it comes to sharing our faith in Christ. The world doesn’t want to listen to anyone who doesn’t agree with its lifestyles or beliefs.  But God asks us to share the gospel with others on this earth. Fortunately, there are many ways we can venture into someone else’s lane, not to tail them for the purpose of intimidating them with their sin or cutting them off from His love but leading them to the finish line knowing they have run Christ’s race.

God has given us many examples in Scripture which show us how to spread God’s love to others who don’t know Him yet.

  • Our daily life is a living example of Christ in our life (1 Peter 2:12.) Others do watch how we live and handle struggles, even when we don’t know they are observing us.
  • Our purposeful actions of love and kindness are a light that shines so brightly that, according to Matthew 5:16, others can’t help but see our faith and they will glorify God.
  • Our grace and mercy uplift those who need kindness reflecting our love for God and our different view of the world (Jude1:22-23.)
  • Our story shared with others is tangible proof that God has been a good and loving Father to us and also dearly loves them. (Apostle Paul’s life)

We don’t have to stay in our lane as Christians. God will show us the perfect time to communicate, comfort, or pray for those who need to know Him as their Lord and Savior.

Stay in what the world labels our lane? Not while we have God’s love and word to share with those who need a new road to follow.
