How did Jesus feel when He left His mother’s womb, opened His eyes for the first time and realized He was born on the very earth that He reigned over from His heavenly throne? How could all Christ’s majesty, power and glory be contained in the small package of a human baby? How could the Heavenly King be so humble to give up His throne for those who would reject Him?

Most of us have probably wondered why God chose the time and circumstances He did for Christ to be born. But Scripture tells us that Jesus was born to give His life to purchase our freedom at just the right time.

Our Savior was born into the flesh of a man, where He began his life understanding his painful ending, yet knowing all His suffering and sacrifice would lead to our eternal joy. He was the right person who came at the right time to fulfill the promise of a Savior born to you today. He is Christ the Lord!

No matter where you spend Christmas, how you celebrate or who you celebrate with, know with all your heart that Jesus was born for you to be your personal Savior, so you could be free to love, serve and live with Him in heaven forever! Sing for joy today with praises to the newborn King who came in love for you!
