Fear vanishes when you are safely in the arms of Christ.

My little niece loves this place. There is a lot here to explore, and she loves it when trains speed by her. Being this close to the tracks may not seem safe, but when she is holding the hand of her uncle, or her parents, she feels invincible.

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. “
Psalm 18:2 New Living Translation

This is true for us. No matter where we are in this world, the safest place on earth is in a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. During this season, as we prepare to celebrate His birth, we read that Jesus was never safe while He was here on earth. He was hunted down to be killed from childhood to his ultimate death on a cross. However He overcame death to bring us safely to live with Him in Heaven for all eternity, because He loves us dearly.

Rejoice this season, and remember that Jesus is always your safe place.

“This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.”
Psalm 91:2 New Living Translation
