From the rising of the sun to its setting, we praise the Lord!

“You quieted the raging oceans with their pounding waves
and silenced the shouting of the nations.

Those who live at the ends of the earth
stand in awe of your wonders.

From where the sun rises to where it sets
    you inspire shouts of joy.”
Psalm 65:7-8 New Living Translation

A beautiful sunset reveals to us the glory of our living God. No matter how your day unfolded, gazing upon the glorious colors that God provides to end your day is a serene blessing for your soul.

Let the beauty that God created on this earth be a reminder to praise Him for His wonderful creation that He allows us to live in each day. The wonders of nature draw us closer to the Creator, giving us a glimpse of the glory that we will see in full at the end of this age. He created everything on this earth to have a unique purpose to sustain our life, so that we would thrive as we work for His kingdom. The sun gives warmth and brings growth. Trees and plants give us oxygen and food, and water quenches our thirst, providing life for all of God’s creatures. All these good things and so many others remind us that our God is powerful, very near to us, exceedingly kind, and loving. We can’t help but see Him everywhere as we look at all He created. Praise His Holy Name!

“Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.”
Psalm 105:1 New Living Translation
